Training For Competition

Each year, too many serious riders find themselves starting the competitive season without clear goals and fitness strategies, which unfortunately impacts the level of success they enjoy.

If a rider is targeting a specific race mid-season then they need to ensure that their training programme is structured in such a way that they are at peak fitness mid season – not early or late season.

Without such a structure, the chances of success are limited. At EliteCycling, we have in-depth knowledge and experience of the principles of 'periodisation', namely ensuring that our riders fitness peaks just when they need to.
