Professional Testimonials

Reza Pakravan | World Record Holder

reza-pakravan.jpgAs well as being my Coach for my World Record Attempt to cross the Sahara Desert in the fastest time, Paul also assisted me in a consultancy role. He not only looked at the full event demands but also helped me by having meetings with Cycling distributors in order for me to have the best possible cycling equipment for the attempt. He also secured sponsorship through his role as an advisor to Maxinutrition so my nutritional needs were very much taken care of. His passion, energy, knowledge and experience played a very important role in my training and preparing myself both mentally and physically and now I am a World Record holder thanks to Paul’s Professionalism.

Rasmus Henning | 2010 Roth Ironman Winner

Rasmus Henning 2010 Roth Ironman WinnerI first met Paul in January 2011 when he was a guest of the Playitas resort where i live with my family. He was very friendly and was very interested in my personal training and also understanding my methodology for my Coaching. We then worked together in March where we both were running training Camps individually. On certain days we would ride together and Pauls methods reinforced his very high level of coaching qualification. Not only did he practice a wide knowledge of training techniques but he was also very instructive and precise with his delivery of each session. I would say that one of Paul’s real attributes were his attention to detail and his willingness  to push the fittest athletes including myself but also to wait and encourage the riders who were finding it a little tough.

Throughout this experience he always had a positive attitude towards his clients and always made himself available for any questions they might have.

I would recommend him very highly and would love to work with him further in the future.

Simon Cope | GB National Womens Team Coach

simon-cope.jpgI have known Paul since the late '80s when he became a training partner of mine. I was riding as a professional and Paul was coming from triathlon but it soon became clear that he had talent as well as a lot of ideas when it come to training and racing. He's attention to detail and professionalism is why he is still winning races and also helping others achieve their goals.

We raced all over the world together for around 10 years and where ever he was and what ever company he always gave 100% and he has carried this attitude into his coaching philosophy. He has built up over the years a great wealth of highly qualified personnel to draw on their knowledge and in my first role as British Cycling's Olympic Development officer helped me and British Cycling set up a London base for rider screening at South Bank University.

He has also helped me in my new role as the GB women's team coach with various training camps and programmes and i could not recommend him high enough.
